Fees & Deposits

Q: Apart from the room rates you have listed, are there any additional fees or deposits I must pay?

A: No. All fees and taxes are included in the published rates. At present, we do not require a security deposit for stays at our properties.

Payment Methods

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept PayPal, which also allows payment via all major credit cards.

Q: What if I do not have a PayPal account?
A: You may still use PayPal without creating an account:

  1. Enter your booking details and accept the rental agreement.
  2. Select “Pay with PayPal”.
  3. On the PayPal page, either enter your email address or select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”.
  4. If your email is not registered with PayPal, you will be prompted to provide your card details.
  5. If you prefer not to create a PayPal account, simply skip the registration steps.

Q: I do not have a PayPal account and I do not wish my debit or credit card to be processed via PayPal. What other payment options are available?

Booking Issues

Q: I created a booking but encountered difficulties using the PayPal interface. When I returned to my booking, I received a message that my chosen dates were no longer available, and I was unable to proceed. What should I do?
A: Please contact us immediately so we can manually reopen your booking:

Payment Schedule

Q: Am I required to make full payment at the time of booking?
A: No. A 50% payment is required upon booking confirmation. The remaining 50% is due seven days before check-in.

Cancellation Policy

Q: Will I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

A: If the cancellation is made 60 days or more before arrival, 100% of paid prepayments will be refunded. If the cancellation is made less than 60 days but 14 days or more before arrival, 50% of paid prepayments will be refunded. No refunds will be made for cancellations less than 14 days before arrival.

Check-In

Q: When will I receive my check-in details?
A: Your check-in information will be sent to your registered email about 48 hours before arrival (please check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it). The email will include the exact property address, directions, and your unique smart lock access code with instructions.

Q: How do I access the house?
A: We don’t provide physical keys. Instead, each property is equipped with a smart lock. You’ll receive a time-sensitive access code before your arrival. Simply enter the code following the provided instructions, and you’ll use the same code throughout your stay.

Q: What type of smart lock do you use, and how do I operate it?
A: The lock type may vary by property. Along with your check-in details, we’ll send you a short video guide about 48 hours before arrival. Please watch the video in advance, as mobile data may be unreliable during travel.

Q: What is the check-in time?
A: Standard check-in is from 4:00 PM.

Q: Is early check-in or bag drop available?
A: This depends on whether another guest is checking out the same day. Please contact us at least 48 hours before arrival—we’ll do our best to accommodate, though it cannot be guaranteed.

Q: Is there an extra charge for early check-in?
A: No, we don’t charge for early check-in if it’s available.

Check-Out

Q: What is the check-out time?
A: Standard check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Q: Can I request a late check-out?
A: Late check-out depends on whether another guest is scheduled to arrive that day. Please reach out at least 48 hours before your check-out—we’ll try to accommodate, though it’s not guaranteed.

Q: Is there an extra charge for late check-out?
A: No, we don’t charge for late check-out if it’s available.

Isle of Man TT

Q: Do you offer your cottages and apartments for direct booking for the Isle of Man TT?
A:
Yes of course, all our holiday cottages and apartments are open for booking for the Isle of Man TT, but they tend to be booked very quickly. So early action is recommended.

Q: When do you open your cottages and apartments for booking for IOM TT?
A
: We usually open the booking window 1 year in advance. We follow a first-come-first-serve principle. Check our website once you have the dates in mind.

Q: I checked your website, but the cottage I wanted to stay in is already booked. What can I do?
A: You may still contact us to register in our waiting list. Sometimes guests may cancel their booking. We are also in the process of adding new cottages and apartments to our portfolio. Sometimes we may be able to arrange an alternative for you based on your requirements.
