Each of our properties is a genuine heritage building — a converted Victorian townhouse in Upper Douglas, a windmill conversion in Castletown, a promenade apartment with the Bay right outside — rather than a purpose-built holiday let dressed up to look old. That means original stone fireplaces, stripped pine flooring, and the kind of character you can’t manufacture, alongside the practical things a modern stay actually needs: fast mesh WiFi, proper coffee machines, Chromecast-enabled TVs, and dedicated workspace if you need to get online.
Check-in is entirely keyless. There are no physical keys to arrange, collect, or worry about losing — every property has a smart lock, and you’ll get a time-sensitive access code along with a short video guide about 48 hours before you arrive. Early check-in and late check-out are free when we can offer them; just ask at least 48 hours ahead.
If you’d rather not cook on holiday, we’ve partnered with yhangry so you can book a private chef straight into your kitchen — anything from a relaxed family dinner to a full multi-course evening, with the chef bringing the ingredients, cooking, serving, and clearing up after. It’s a genuinely different way to spend an evening in, especially if the weather’s turned.
We also keep our collection deliberately small. We’re not trying to be everywhere on the island — we’d rather look after a handful of properties properly than manage dozens at arm’s length. That means when something needs fixing, or you have a question at 9pm, you’re talking to someone who actually knows the building, not a call centre.
